About SSP
I created SnowSportsPlanet after spending a weekend snowboarding with my friends at a ski resort. We were sitting around the lodge in the evening talking about where we get our tips, tricks and advice on snowboarding. Everyone said Facebook, YouTube and Forums.
Then when we talked about equipment or specific questions about the sport, everyone mentioned a few magazine reviews or Amazon User Reviews. I felt there had to be a better resource that could answer questions and provide good info about specific topics.
So I created this website. Then someone started asking me questions about snowmobiles, and I felt that it would be a great addition to the site. I’ll be adding a few more sports that I, my family and friends participate in over the next several months, too.
For health and safety issues, I get contributions from writer Tim Conner, M.D. LinkedIn Profile who also writes about watersports safety.
In the meantime, I hope you find something helpful here.
